Client Profile: A 25 Hour Day – The Productive Entrepreneur Program
I am so excited to profile A 25 Hour Day and the Productive Entrepreneur Program this month. On a personal note, I just entered the program last month and already have started to see some positive changes for my business. Joy has so much energy that it is just contagious! From our initial phone call, Joy was able to map out a strategy plan for my business. This plan can easily be updated each month and provide me with a snap shot showing the areas that are improving and the areas I need to focus more time on.
Joy Duling, founder of The Productive Entrepreneur Program works specifically with small business owners and entrepreneurs who are simply overwhelmed by the amount of work that needs to be done in order to keep their businesses up and running. Sometimes this is due to the fact that they are the ONLY person in their business. . . sometimes it’s due to the fact that they have a team, but each team member requires their constant attention for answers/direction.
Joy helps business owners determine how to best use their time to achieve their goals. The first step is typically a time study where she examines exactly where they are specifically spending their time. She asks business owners to track their time for two full weeks; she then takes that data, runs some analytics on it, and presents them with recommendations as to how they can streamline tasks and/or work to best sync with their own personal energy levels. This process also works perfectly to help business owners to identify what they ought to be delegating to someone else – like Linda and her team! (Joy herself uses Linda’s bookkeeping services and has her handling a significant chunk of her on-line marketing – article submissions as well as identification of speaking opportunities and strategic alliances.)
Beyond the time study, Joy also helps business owners with regularly scheduled business planning sessions and project management coaching to ensure that whatever is important to a business owner’s success actually gets done!
